- Fire Hose Coupling-Type Ansi Pin is a rigid interlocking end-piece on fire hose; it is used for connecting hose to hydrants or fire engine pumps and other hose appliances (nozzles, wyes, etc).
- Used to quickly connect and disconnect hoses during water delivery applications
- They can be easily connected to our range of dividing breechings, hydrant valves, nozzles and standpipes
- A wide of types are available as per the illustration below.The are all made of bronze and used for shipboard fire fighting

Inspection & Maintenance
- After use flush with clean fresh water
- Inspect after use or at intervals of not greater than one month
- Check any release mechanism (e.g. the lugs on instantaneous couplings) for free movement
- Inspect the sealing rings
- Use lubricants as recommended by the manufacturer. For the bolt and spring in an instantaneous connection this may be lithium grease.
