Pneumatic Piston Pump

  • Pneumatic Piston Pump is designed to pump light viscous oil like engine gear oil, machine oil ... from drums or other containers .The tool is not suitable for gasoline, kerosene, and liquid which have chemistry melt power. Do not clean the machine with gasoline.
  • Pneumatic Piston Pump is driven by compressed air. It can be used in extracting or inputting lubricant from barrel. The part which connects with liquid is made of Aluminum, other Seal part of the tool is made of NBR.
  • Supply air quality:
    • Ensure that a suitable filter-regulator-lubricator (FRL) is fitted on the supply line as close to pump inlet as operation will allow.
    • Keep the lubricator topped up with pneumatic tool oil. Drain the moisture from bowl as required. Please maintain supply air pressure of the pump under 7KG/Cm2 , by using an air regulator. If the air pressure is too high, the tool is easy to be damaged to shorten the longevity of the tool.
    • Check hoses for wear at regular intervals. Check hose fittings are secure, accidental disconnection while pressurized may cause the hose to whip and can cause serious injury.
    • Air supply line should have a control valve to open and shut off the air supply . Shut the air source after work or not work for a long time, then release the air in the tool. Try your best to prevent the tool running freely in case of affecting the longevity of the tool.
  • Pump Installation:
    • Separate the barrel cap from the pump, screw on to the barrel inlet thread. Slip the pump through the barrel cap and into the barrel. Lower end of the pump should be about 3cm above the bottom of barrel.
    • Tighten the barrel clamp screw to fix the pump. Caution don not over tighten the screw as this may damage the barrel. Connect the air supply hose.
    • Connect the air supply hose.Open air supply valve and run at reduced pressure 7KG/Cm2 can be applied. It is recommended to assemble a valve on the oil delivery hose.
    • The pump is best controlled by manipulating this valve. If the valve is completely shut, the pump will stop pumping and will pump progressively as the valve is opened progressively.
