When putting the magnet in place , always have the discharge handle at right angles to the magnet . In this way the magnet can be positioned and the handle lowered to allow controlled full magnet face contact with the steel surface .
To removed the magnet , raise the discharge handle to the right angle position , and lift the magnet clear of the steel surface .
